    **Job Description**

    **AECOM** is seeking a **Civil Engineering Intern** to be based in **Seattle, Washington** .

    _This position is expected to begin in June 2024._

    + Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

    + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    + Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

    + Candidate must have completed 1 year of study in their program.

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    + Experience and/or proficiency in DOT.

    + Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

    + Bluebeam and Microsoft Project proficiency.

    + Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    **Additional Information**

    + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

    + Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

    + As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a substance abuse test.

    + Offered rate of compensation (Washington locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $18 - $26/hr.
