  • The Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (MPIB) in Martinsried is a world-renowned research institution specializing in biochemistry, cell and structural biology, and biomedical research. With approximately 30 scientific departments and research groups and a team of 750 employees, MPIB is one of the largest institutes within the Max Planck Society. We are currently seeking a research scientist (m/f/d), postdoc (m/f/d), or engineer (m/f/d) with expertise in electron microscopy to join the Department of Cell and Virus Structure/CryoEM Technology, working alongside Dr. John Briggs and Dr. Juergen Plitzko. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in transmission electron microscopy and a passion for developing methods and technology for cryoelectron microscopy and tomography. Our institute boasts a dynamic community of electron microscopy experts, providing a stimulating and collaborative environment for research.
