The Rummelsbergers are one of the largest providers of social work in Bavaria.

The Rummelsberg Services for People with Disabilities are currently seeking a Social Worker (m/f/d) for their Supported Living department in the greater Nuremberg area.

Your responsibilities:


  • You will support, promote, and advise people with disabilities in their personal environment and in managing their daily lives according to their agreed support needs in various areas such as daily structure, health, administrative matters, social contacts, etc.
  • You will cover for your colleagues during their vacation or sick leave.
  • You will maintain selfresponsible communication with legal guardians, family members, doctors, and other important professionals and support persons within the help system, and together with your team colleagues, coordinate the support process.
  • Together with the team, you will be responsible for individual support planning, creating development reports, documenting provided support services, and implementing and adhering to internal quality standards.
  • You will activate and maintain the existing resources and abilities of the individuals under your care, thereby promoting their quality of life.
  • You will work during agreedupon times with the individuals under your care, scheduling appointments independently while considering their needs.

Your qualifications:


  • You have completed a degree in Social Work (B.A. or Diploma) or have a comparable qualification.
  • Previous experience in the field of autism, ambulatory social work, or disability services is desirable, or
