As an Operational Purchaser (m/f/d), you will be the link between New Flag and our suppliers, responsible for procuring our brands and ensuring an optimal balance between availability and inventory range.

You will also monitor internal goals and optimize supply chain processes in relation to our suppliers.


Your tasks in detail:


  • You ensure optimal global availability of your brand portfolio, keeping an eye on all steps from ordering to receipt of goods
  • You ensure prompt and correct allocation of incoming goods to the corresponding warehouses and production locations, and carry out assembly bookings
  • Together with Demand Planning and Strategic Buying, you ensure proactive communication and quick action in case of deviations and complaints
  • You keep track of available production capacities and potential bottlenecks at our suppliers, and ensure clear priorities in production planning
  • You regularly create reports and analyses on the delivery performance of our suppliers and request corrective measures if necessary
  • You continuously analyze and optimize the ordering processes and actively contribute to improvements in supply chain management
What you bring with you

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of relevant professional experience or a completed degree (Logistics/ Management/ Business Administration/ SCM) with first relevant practical experience
  • You have strong communication skills and like to actively contribute with your own ideas
  • You think in a processoriented way and excel in your analytical skills
  • You have good project management skills and knowledge of quality management
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel
