V. is a non-profit organization providing youth services in Düsseldorf.

In the department of Family Support Services, we support parents who are often dealing with long-term illnesses such as cancer or mental health issues, by assisting with childcare, household tasks, and other responsibilities.

We also provide care for children with disabilities to relieve their parents and offer assistance in school, daycare, and leisure activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing family support services for families where the primary caregiver is unable to fulfill their duties due to illness or other reasons
  • Organizing and taking care of childcare and household tasks
  • Developing and maintaining daily routines for clients
  • Caring for children with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities
  • Assisting children with disabilities in school, daycare, or leisure activities
  • Independently and responsibly completing tasks with confidentiality and reliability
  • Participating in meetings and discussions regarding specialized and support plans
  • Maintaining necessary documentation and reports (computer skills required)

Qualifications:

  • Trained in household and family care, staterecognized social pedagogical assistants, childcare workers, or special needs educators
  • Ability to work independently, handle psychological stress, be responsible, empathetic, have good communication skills, and be organized
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if needed
