Dual Studies at the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Career Training for the Higher Civil Service)

Are you looking for an exciting degree program and want to contribute to democracy? Then the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) as the domestic intelligence service is the right place for you.

Apply for the three-year, cross-location dual study program starting on April 1, 2025 at the Federal University of Public Administration (HS Bund) in Brühl and Berlin. The program combines legal topics and information on the tasks of the BfV with political history of ideas and diverse courses (e.g. observation and intelligence operational techniques). In addition, you will gain practical experience in various areas of the BfV (in Berlin/Cologne) and a state authority for the protection of the constitution.

Upon starting the program, you will join our team as a government inspector trainee (m/f/d). After successfully completing the program as a graduate administrative officer (FH), you can expect to be appointed as a civil servant on probation (salary group A 9 BBesO A).
