Your responsibilities
- Participating in the entire software development process (including analysis of customer requirements, implementation, testing, and validation) for the automation system software used at Star City, as well as for embedded systems (such as new products, further development, and maintenance of existing systems)
- Verifying product requirements, creating high-quality designs, and implementing efficient and effective software solutions
- Developing software in accordance with quality and safety guidelines, primarily for industrial process automation
- Staying up-to-date with technologies, tools, and methods, and implementing initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction
- Solving complex industrial problems
- Reviewing current technologies to select effective applications, equipment, and methods for new products or software
- Providing expert assistance for projects and colleagues
Your background
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably as an R&D engineer in industrial automation
- Knowledge of hardware-related software architectures and operating systems
- Experience with C, C++, and C#
- Familiarity with Ethernet-based communication protocols (such as Profinet, Modbus TCP, etc
