The state tasks of water management and nature conservation are concentrated at the Lower Saxony State Office for Water Management, Coastal Protection and Nature Conservation (NLWKN). With its headquarters in Norden (East Frisia) and eleven branch offices, the NLWKN is represented throughout Lower Saxony.

In the Stade branch office of the Lower Saxony State Office for Water Management, Coastal Protection and Nature Conservation (NLWKN), in the department "Planning and Construction" in the area "Stade-Ost", the position is available at the Stade location

as soon as possible

for a civil engineer (m/f/d)
(Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent)

unlimited in full-time with currently 38.5 hours/week.

The position is classified in pay group 11 TV-L.

At the NLWKN, we take on water management tasks in Lower Saxony, from coastal protection to flood protection and the protection of groundwater and surface waters. As a specialist authority, we collect hydrological data and evaluate it, and we are the contact for authorities, associations, planners and project sponsors for hydraulic engineering projects.

Our tasks are as diverse and varied as the future areas of application after completing the preparatory service
