Medical Assistant.

  • PART TIME POSITION


The
Medical Assistant has primary responsibility for providing quality, sufficient and appropriate urine testing, appropriate paperwork, and data entry activities to clients served at the Site.

It is also the responsibility of this position to model and maintain high professional conduct and standards.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS

  • Comply with all BCCS policies and procedures.
  • Monitors drug screens by clients.
  • Completes appropriate documentation and forwards to various labs.
  • Records Breathalyzer and Drug Screen results.
  • Prepares and maintains lab areas.
  • Assists with female client physical examinations when necessary.
  • Collects and processes specimens.
  • Properly prepares specimens for transport.
  • Operate and maintain facility and equipment safely.
  • Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with intake and annual physical examination.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED
  • REQUIRED: Medical Assistant Program certificate/completion
  • PREFERRED: At least 1 year experience as CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) preferred

Pay:


  • Starting at $18/hour
  • Commensurate with experience and education
