Description
Our Development Engineer for Drive and Chassis is responsible for the development and implementation of specific functions within a vehicle. This includes designing, developing, testing, and integrating these functions into the overall vehicle system.
They work closely with other teams within the company, such as hardware and software development, to ensure the successful implementation of these functions. The location for this position is Ingolstadt, but there is also flexibility for remote work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test specific functions within a vehicle, such as drivetrain or E/E software components
- Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure seamless integration of these functions into the overall vehicle system
- Ensure all functions comply with industry standards and regulations
- Coordinate and evaluate system and customer requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot function performance issues
- Coordinate and evaluate risks
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Prior experience in the automotive industry, particularly in vehicle function development
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Experience in developing
