Your tasks

  • As a motivated database administrator, you are responsible for the operation and monitoring of our customers' Oracle databases and support technical and functional database issues
  • You install and manage single instance, standby, and RAC environments
  • Monitoring and further development of Oracle backup and recovery strategies is part of your operational tasks
  • You analyze and solve complex database problems with subsequent optimization and performance improvement
  • You handle support requests in the iTAC hotline/support team and support our customers and iTAC colleagues

Your profile

  • You have completed training as a technician and have qualifications with relevant professional experience in IT and database techniques
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience in handling databases Oracle (12c / 19c) and MS / SQL and the ability to think and work in a solution-oriented manner
  • In your daily work, you can successfully use the database languages SQL
  • You are familiar with the operating systems Windows and Linux, as well as network technology TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and have sound knowledge
  • You have a professional work attitude, as well as a confident and friendly demeanor with customers
  • You are familiar with the German language for communication within the team and the English language for handling your work
