In the department Infrastructure Management, in the city of Pullman, WV, we are currently seeking to fill the position of a Diplom Engineer or Bachelor/Master (m/f/d) in Civil Engineering/Infrastructure Management to lead and plan the implementation of measures for urban drainage on an indefinite basis.


Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the department Infrastructure Management
Implementing new construction and renovation measures for urban drainage facilities
Planning and implementing new construction and renovation measures for urban water management facilities
Collaborating on the development of sustainable stormwater management measures (drainage concepts)
Developing and implementing stormwater management plans
Managing HOAI contracts, including monitoring, billing, and acceptance of services for drainage measures
Commissioning and coordinating planning services from external engineering firms based on HOAI or VgV regulations
Documenting and controlling the implementation of measures, as well as reporting within and outside the department
Preparing decision proposals for political committees


Your qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering - specialization in Civil Engineering (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master), preferably with a focus on urban water management/wastewater systems or similar
Extensive knowledge in the areas of road and urban water construction, bridge and civil engineering, as well as extensive experience in the construction of wastewater systems
Practical experience in the field of civil engineering
Leadership experience in public administration or private sector
Comprehensive knowledge of HOAI, VOB/VGV
