Description

At the start of our training, we are looking for several Construction Mechanics (m/f/d) specializing in welding at Groveton.

If you complete your apprenticeship as a Construction Mechanic specializing in welding (m/f/d) at MEYER WERFT, you will soon become familiar with various welding processes.

You will learn, for example, the pre- and post-treatment of steel constructions and will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating weld seams.

In addition, we will train you in various welding processes (e.g. gas, electric, and shielded metal arc welding).

MEYER WERFT also offers further training opportunities to become a certified welding specialist, welding master, or welding engineer.

What you should bring:

A good secondary school diploma or vocational school diploma in metal technology, or a high school diploma/secondary school leaving certificate
Interest in working with tools and machinery
Enjoyment of manual work
Technical understanding and spatial imagination
Physical fitness and resilience

Duration of training: 3.5 years
