Sr. Product Manager, Source to Report
to join Procore's Finance & Legal Technology team.
In this role, you will be part of Procore's Data Technology and Security (DTS, formerly IT) organization, which provides functional and technical expertise, driving efficiency and delivering repeatable solutions to scale with a focus on Source to Pay and Record to Report value streams.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamicSenior Product Manager
for our Source to Pay and Record to Report processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction and operational execution of our product suite.
They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that align with our business objectives.
They will partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounting, FP&A, and Commissions stakeholders to ensure systems are functioning, integrated, efficiently deployed, and aligned with the overall Procore technical architecture.
This position reports to the Senior Manager - Finance Technology and will be remote working in the US. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.What you'll do:
Product Roadmap and Solution Design – Understand SaaS products that are implemented within the Source to Report landscape and build a roadmap based on the business strategy
Release Planning – Work with Finance & Legal Tech team engineering and systems teams to define release goals that map to business and technology objectives and plan features and projects
Product Knowledge - Be a subject matter expert, including its features and functionality, user experience, and connections to boundary applications
Business Process and Market Knowledge – Understand Procore Business Processes and Source to Report product landscape to make implementation decisions
Stay on top of compliance requirements across countries Procore operates in and provide direction to the Source to Report team on upcoming changes that will be required to assure timely compliance with required standards
Provides Technical leadership to Source to Report team members and project teams
Challenge the norm and push the team to forget the easy route and go after the impossible to delight our clients and deliver beyond their expectations
Identify gaps/automation opportunities in existing production applications and processes; propose and deliver improvements to both system and processes. Where applicable, evaluate alternative methods, and present recommendations and justifications to business partners
Roughly 50-60% of hands-on configuration work
What we're looking for:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining Financial Systems systems, with a focus on Source to Pay and Record to Report domain knowledge
3+ years of experience in implementing Netsuite, Coupa, Blackline, Concur, Xactly, and Pigment, with responsibility for configuration, customization, and management of the technical solution
Ability to visualize, analyze, communicate, and solve complex problems and make well-adapted decisions based on available information
Experience in writing detailed technical specifications, testing & release plans required to develop and implement software solutions; working independently in a very fast-paced, high-growth team environment; communicating with leads across the DTS teams
Leverage your knowledge of financial systems, processes, and technology to deliver new experiences and operational rigor for new services
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $147,200-$202,400. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation.
