The Diakonische Jugendhilfe Region Heilbronn gGmbH (DJHN) is a non-profit organization for child and youth welfare as well as youth vocational assistance with 600 employees at over 75 locations in the region.

We are looking for:

Department Head (M/F/D) [23076]:

for the department of residential and semi-residential assistance (HzE):
(Social Pedagogue, Educator, Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, or equivalent qualification)

Your tasks:

As Department Head:

Strategic, professional and cultural management of the department with 5 teams, taking into account economic and personnel conditions
Participation in the orientation of the department
Coordination of inquiries in close cooperation with youth welfare offices and other cooperation partners
Continuous review and participation in the adaptation of service offerings and development of sustainable services
Personnel planning, selection, leadership, and development in the department
Professional advice and process control and support
Committee and working group work

As Inquiry Coordinator:

Receiving all written or telephone inquiries from the youth welfare office
Evaluation and assessment of the needs of the requested young people and checking for suitability
Coordination of inquiries for existing services

You have:

Several years of professional experience and comprehensive specialist knowledge, experience in child and youth welfare
High advisory competence
Strong communication skills and resilience
Cooperation and networking skills, experience in
