Position Summary:


Reporting to the PTS Supervisor, incumbent assists the Operations Supervisor with daily operational oversight for all ICMC/UCIMC Health System parking operations and enforcement operations.

Incumbent will patrol assigned areas on foot and by motor vehicle and issue parking violation citations, warnings, and courtesy notices for illegal parking, and will boot or tow vehicles as necessary.

Assisting PTS Operations Supervisor with monitoring contracted services (maintenance, shuttle, valet, etc.) Monitor parking areas for safety/security related situations reporting any activity to the Medical Center Security Department as needed or UCI Police.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Required to successfully complete an FBI fingerprinting process and maintain the successful completion of an FBI fingerprinting process throughout employment.
  • Employment is contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation
  • Continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record
  • Must be able to perform citation case reviews based on policy/regulation/law
  • Must be able to perform sustained foot patrol
  • Minimum six months related experience, preferably in customer service/hospitality
  • Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Current State of California Driver's License
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must be able to work independently and with excellent problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of applicable procedures and regulations concerning parking enforcement and traffic control
  • Working knowledge of the California Vehicle code
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
