Description

The Cabinet Assembler must act according to Leedo's core values: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Our goal is making our customers successful, taking care of our team, pursuing excellence, and maximizing profitability.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for building all base and wall cabinets according to the following steps.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Responsible for placing the frame facing down on table
Responsible for nailing the end panels and bottom to the frame
Responsible for stapling the hangers to the back of the cabinet
Responsible for installing the toe kick on the cabinet
Responsible for placing the shelf in cabinet.
Responsible for installation of plastic corner blocks on the cabinet (4)
Responsible for loading cabinet on conveyor.
Additional duties as assigned by Assembly Dept. Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to distinguish wood species and door styles.
Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing hourly goals.
Must have a basic ability for reading and writing.

Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.

Current work schedule is Monday through Friday. However, scheduled may change based on the needs of the company.
