Description

For our client, a traditional institution specializing in banking services for private clients, entrepreneurs and their owner-managed medium-sized companies, and institutional investors, we are looking for an Analyst (m/f/d) Capital Markets for the Market Follow-up Credit department at our location in Munich.

Your responsibilities

Processing and voting on credit applications in the Capital Markets sector, with a focus on the bank's liquidity reserve, trading book, counterparties in derivative transactions, and default risks of investment funds resulting from the bank's extensive custody mandates

This includes in particular:
Reviewing the application for compliance with the Credit Risk Standard Approach (CRR), alignment with the bank's strategy, and compliance with § 18 KWG, overall risk from customer groups (borrower units), and country risks
Analyzing business reports and reports from companies and banks in German and English according to national and international accounting standards
Analyzing the annual financial statements and key figures of investment funds with regard to risk and debt service capacity, taking into account risks in derivative transactions
Researching, analyzing, and evaluating rating reports or creating own ratings in the available systems with a qualified assessment of the economic situation and creditworthiness
Daily monitoring of credit risks from counterparties and issuers, including from exchange-traded or over-the-counter (OTC) products
Acting as a sparring partner and accompanying the introduction of product innovations in the Capital
