Our Profile:


The Teaching and Research Area for Technical Didactics in Construction was established in 2013 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at RWTH Aachen University to strengthen the didactic research and teaching in the technical vocational subjects for teaching at vocational colleges.

Our research focuses on teaching and learning in technical domains and curriculum development in corresponding educational programs at vocational colleges.

In this context, we particularly address issues and challenges related to diversity and inclusion, and their implications for the design of teaching and learning processes.


Your Profile:


  • Successfully completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in engineering or industrial engineering, for teaching at vocational schools, in educational science or vocational pedagogy, or similar.
  • Interest in practical, scientific questions in vocational didactics
  • Creativity, initiative, team orientation
  • Excellent German language skills
  • Ability to work independently in a scientific setting

Your Tasks:


You will support the Teaching and Research Area for Technical Didactics in Construction in the current BMBF project D4MINT in the development and selection of digital media for teacher training in STEM subjects.
