Our V. Mueller and Snowden-Pencer instruments are developed in collaboration with leading surgeons around the world.
To strengthen our strategic purchasing team in Wurmlingen, we are looking for a leader to develop and implement a medium and long-term sustainable purchasing strategy for V.
This position reports to the Managing Director of our Wurmlingen location.
Your role in detail:
- Executes the actual procurement function to control and send planning plans and orders
- Investigates and evaluates new sources of supply to meet market requirements
- Resolves and expedites any deviations related to orders, planning plans, deliveries, prices, and quality
- Brings a creative approach to supplier relationships to optimize resources on both sides while eliminating nonvalueadded activities
- Conducts continuous supplier contact to maintain and build partnerships, avoid delivery backlogs, and resolve delivery backlogs
- Assists with supplier communication regarding quality and regulatory issues or projects
- Participates in contract negotiations with the Surgical Instrumentation Team and project teams in Germany and the USA
- Interface for overdue invoices/payments between supplier and accounting Assistant Manager, Office Manager V. Mueller
- Assists with continuous improvement of procurement processes
