Manager (m/f/d)

(Salary group E 11 TV-L)
in a refugee accommodation facility of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the Cologne administrative district


at the location Leverkusen

in department 20 - Accommodation of Refugees -
is available at the earliest possible date. The position is initially limited to two years.

The District Government of Cologne is a modern, efficient and citizen-friendly authority of the state's intermediate level. It is a central authority that represents all departments of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia in its district. With around 2,000 employees, the District Government of Cologne is one of the largest authorities in the state.

To fulfill the diverse and responsible tasks of a state intermediate authority, we are looking for support.


Area of responsibility:


The tasks include the following:

  • Site management, including monitoring and enforcement of contractually agreed standards
  • Cooperation with support organizations, social welfare offices, immigration authorities, health authorities, police, etc.
  • Participation in order partnerships/ round tables/ representation of the District Government on site in the refugee accommodation facility
  • Keeping statistics and preparing reports
  • Examination, decisionmaking and implementation of benefits according to the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (e.g. issuing taxi and/or medical certificates, pocket money)
  • The position involves conducting external appointments
  • Enforcement of the interests of department
