LAYERTEC GmbH is a medium-sized, family-owned company with over 400 employees. The company develops and produces sophisticated optics in high quantities for renowned laser manufacturers, as well as individual components for research institutions and universities worldwide. The production includes both fine optics manufacturing (flat surfaces, lenses, aspheres) and their coating with modern sputtering and vapor deposition processes.

At our headquarters in 99441 Mellingen (Thuringia), we are looking for a new team member as a laboratory employee* starting from [date].

Your responsibilities:

Independent setup, adjustment and calibration of special measurement setups and laser systems in the laboratory
Conducting and documenting measurements as part of quality control and product development
Maintenance and upkeep of laser systems and measurement setups in the laboratory
Organizing daily tasks (scheduling measurement orders, coordination with internal groups)
Continuous improvement of quality assurance

Your profile:

A degree in engineering or natural sciences or a completed vocational training as a physics laboratory technician (or similar) or several years of professional experience in the fields of fine optics, testing and measurement technology, laser (measurement) technology
Teamwork and
