At Oakwood, OK, we are seeking a School Assistant to provide individualized and tailored support to students with disabilities in all types of schools.

This role involves actively accompanying students in all aspects of their school day.

The main responsibilities of a School Assistant include promoting integration into the school and classroom community, as well as facilitating access to education.


Ideally, candidates will have a background in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or Social Work, or possess a similar qualification with relevant experience and personal suitability.

We also welcome students studying Education, Social Work, Special Education, or Social Assistance to join our team.

It would be highly desirable for candidates to have knowledge and experience in supporting and working with children and adolescents with mental disabilities.

We also welcome career changers to apply for this position.

In some cases, we also welcome candidates without formal qualifications.
