    About the Team

    The Global Workstation Asset team will be responsible for ensuring computer hardware standards for the company's 10,000 employees around the globe. This team will be responsible for vendor relationships and ensuring the efficient procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of workstation assets to support the operational needs of our company. The team will collaborate closely with various departments to optimize asset utilization, streamline processes, and minimize costs.

    What you will be doing

    You will be leading the Workstation Asset team that is responsible to develop computer and software standards and work with IT vendors to purchase hardware, software, and devices. You will be responsible to execute the computer lifecycle management from procurement to retirement. You will be expected to maintain tight asset tracking and monitoring. This will be a unique position to build a process that meets the expectations of the company. As a leader in the organization, you will be responsible to supervise, schedule, monitor and evaluate staff.

    • Lead a team of 6-8 analysts around the world to ensure the workflow is executed.
    • Analyze the business to understand what the organization needs from its solutions. You will have to understand the organization's long-term goals and ensure that the assets can support them. This includes financial planning skills to understand the costs associated with the assets and create budgets for them.
    • Build a comprehensive asset management strategy for the organization. You will need to consider the organization's goals, the risks it faces, compliance issues, and other aspects to come up with a plan that minimizes costs and risks while empowering the organization with its IT infrastructure.
    • Manage vendor relationships (OEM & VARs) to execute the delivery of the hardware and software products.
    • Build, maintain, and regularly update the company's hardware and software inventory.
    • Create and implement policies for the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of assets throughout the organization globally.
    • Assess and adapt processes to improve the colleague experience and introduce automation.
    • Ensure budgets and deliverables are met in accordance with leadership directives.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in IT Management with proven leadership and team-building skills to inspire and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
    • 5+ years of Vendor Management experience. A history of cultivating relationships with hardware vendors and service providers to stay informed about industry trends, negotiate favorable terms, and leverage vendor resources for asset management initiatives.
    • 5+ years of experience with asset management tools, systems, and configuration management database (CMDB). Excellent organizational and analytical skills to build detailed reports around hardware configurations, age of devices, deployment, and reclamation of assets over time.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with a wide range of technical skills.
    • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum or ITIL.
    • Certifications in asset management such IAITAM's CHAMP, CITAM or CAMP is preferred.
    • Ownership mentality capable of confidently managing complex IT systems around the world.

    Added bonus if you have:

    • Experience in ServiceNow (Certification preferred but not required)
    • ITIL or PMP Certification
    FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105, $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
