A day in the life of the Estimator would be:
- Collaborating with the sales, project management, and production teams to evaluate project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates
- Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project bids
- Conducting research on materials, labor, and other relevant factors to determine project costs
- Communicating with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Reviewing project progress and adjusting estimates as needed
- Providing support to the sales team during client presentations and meetings

Requirements:
- Previous experience in estimating and/or purchasing
- Familiarity with electrical signage manufacturing processes and materials
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Proficient using digital tools and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
