Description

For the Department of Road Construction, we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) for Cycling. Our city is moving towards the future - and you can be a part of it. Your responsibilities:

Together with a dedicated cycling team, you will develop concepts for cycling to increase the share of cycling and achieve climate protection goals in Heilbronn.

You will plan and build the municipal cycling infrastructure and further develop the city's cycling route network.

You will coordinate and supervise the planning of attractive cycling projects, such as the development of the modern AI innovation park in the Steinäckern area or the cycle path on the decommissioned Bottwar railway line through the Lerchenbergtunnel, as well as other city cycling routes.

You will be responsible for cycle route signage, bicycle parking, and school cycling route plans. You will support the team in implementing accompanying actions, campaigns, events, and workshops to promote cycling.

You will participate in the city's working group for cycling and pedestrian traffic and in the working group for bicycle and pedestrian-friendly municipalities in Baden-Württemberg (AGFK-BW).
