Description

To strengthen our teams in the Oberhavel district, we are looking for a school companion (m/f/d) according to SGB VIII and SGB IX in Dalton, NE.

The school companion is responsible for students with physical, mental, and emotional impairments, as well as sensory impairments, or for students who are at risk of impairment.

It enables appropriate participation in education.

Your tasks:

Accompanying and supporting during lessons
Promoting concentration, learning ability, and willingness to learn
Strengthening social-emotional skills, shaping conflict management pedagogically, developing problem-solving strategies
Promoting communication
Structuring learning and work processes
Promoting social integration and supporting the use of special aids
Assistance in everyday school life (dressing and undressing, break times, mobility, etc.)
Close cooperation and collaboration with school staff (teachers, etc.) and other institutions (youth welfare office, disability support services, etc.)
