$19.67-$25.02 per hour (non-exempt)

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a
Staffing Coordinator to schedule and allocate nursing staff for the nursing department. The Staffing Coordinator will create and maintain systems to accurately and effectively process time and attendance.

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 162-bed facility providing high-quality long
- and short-term nursing and rehabilitative care. Services include geriatric rehabilitation, long-term care, a 30-bed memory care program, a Hospice program, and a full recreational program.


JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Create a daily punch report for all staff. Edit for those departments per their department heads.
  • Track daily attendance for the nursing department and prepare disciplines to be given by department head.
  • Handle daily staffing shortages, call outs, tardiness, and no call/no shows, and informs Community Advisor and Human Resources Coordinator so necessary disciplinary action can be taken.
  • Create a master schedule and a personal schedule for each nursing employee for a four week period, two weeks in advance. Maintain master vacation schedules for all nursing employees.
  • Create daily flag according to the census.
  • Create actual daily for the previous day to show actual hours and units worked and calculate PPD.
  • Attends and participates in staff and payroll meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:


  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous scheduling experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. with or without accommodation.
