The Federal Highway Administration (FHA) is the federal authority responsible for the administration of federal highways within the jurisdiction of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV).

The FHA is regularly seeking several full-time, permanent
lawyers (m/f/d) as consultants (m/f/d) for the implementation of planning procedures for the hearing and approval authority.

The place of employment is Bonn or Hannover.

With the reform of the contracting administration, federal highways have been managed by the federal government since January 1, 2021, rather than by the contracting administration.

The FHA, a new federal authority within the BMDV, was established on October 1, 2018, and works closely with the BMDV, the newly founded Autobahn GmbH, and the federal states in the sovereign area of federal highway administration.

The FHA has its headquarters in Leipzig and three locations in Bonn, Gießen, and Hannover.
