The city of Duisburg is looking for an Urban Planner or Spatial Planner for the Department of Urban Development and Project Management.

The city of Duisburg has been selected by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community to participate in a model project for the further development of urban development funding.

Under the title "Strong in the North
  • Alt-Hamborn & Marxloh," the city has developed an integrated action concept (ISEK) that will be gradually implemented in the coming years with federal funding.
Your main tasks Your task is to coordinate all measures anchored in the ISEK "Strong in the North" for the Marxloh district.

This includes in particular the urban development of the educational landscape in Marxloh as well as the social, urban, and economic renewal of the center.

Specifically, your area of responsibility includes the following tasks:
