In the Department of Art and Culture, the position of Director (m/f/d) for the management of the Cologne City Museum and the development of the network of Historical Museums Cologne is to be filled for a period of five years (with the possibility of extension) as soon as possible.


Since its founding in 1888, the Cologne City Museum has been dedicated to showcasing the history of Kila from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Until the opening of the new building in the Historical Center, expected at the end of 2029, the museum will be located in the interim in the former Sauer fashion house from 2023.
