Responsibilities

Independent handling of purchasing of roundwood and biomass in the assigned purchasing region in Springfield, WV

Managing existing supplier relationships, building and acquiring new suppliers

Controlling and optimizing logistics

Supporting the department head of roundwood purchasing in developing regional purchasing strategies

Qualifications

Specialized training and professional experience in purchasing

Enjoyment of contact, collaboration, and relationship management with our suppliers

Ideally several years of experience in a similar position

Passion for the raw material wood

High social competence and communication skills

Proactive, results-oriented work style

Organizational talent, assertiveness, and polished appearance
