The hospital is a primary and standard care provider with approximately 350 beds. The cardiology department has around 60 beds and treats several thousand patients annually. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art devices and has a hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratory.

It is located near several major cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, making it an ideal place to live as the hospital can be reached within half an hour.
