Behavior Management Specialist BHS (3 Per House)The above captioned position is being advertised - three positions per BHS House contingent upon funding
Qualifications:
1.Must be a teacher at Brockton High School2.Must have a minimum of three full years of successful teaching experience at the high school level3.Knowledge and experience in Massachusetts disciplinary laws and due process preferred 4.Consideration for relevant experience as a floor teacher will be given Responsibilities1.Must teach four periods per day and spend his/her prep and duty periods assigned to office duty.2.Assist in reviewing the Assistant Principals inbox of discipline referrals and any required record keeping of discipline action.3.Issue non-exclusionary discipline in consultation with building leadership and special education staff as necessary as well as phone calls to guardians/parents of students.4.Complete training as assigned by administration.5.Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Principal or other building administration related to the implementation of student discipline.
