Description

What will you learn in your apprenticeship? Understanding assembly and installation instructions, assembling and repairing machines, programming mechatronic systems.

Additionally, you will learn the basics of control and regulation technology and how to handle all necessary tools and equipment.

What do we expect from you? We are looking for apprentices who are helpful, careful, and reliable, and enjoy working in a team.

You are curious about technology, can get excited about it, and have a secondary school diploma. Your performance in mathematics, physics, German, and English is good to satisfactory.

Duration of apprenticeship: 3.5 years (possible to shorten to 3 years)

Typical tasks:

Methodical identification of errors and defects in (industrial) plants, machines, and systems
Troubleshooting
Construction, functional testing, and maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls in automated production processes
Testing, measuring, and adjusting devices and system components
Testing safety and protection functions
Processing various materials such as metal or plastic
Installation and programming of hardware and software components
Commissioning and operation of complex mechatronic systems

Requirements:

Secondary school diploma with good to satisfactory grades in mathematics, physics, German, and English
Technical understanding

What tasks will you take on after your apprenticeship? You will maintain our small and large plants at our company locations, such as our waste incineration plant or sorting facilities.

If something is not running smoothly, you will identify and fix the problem
