Your responsibilities
- Conduct research on new methods for image and video compression using the latest multimedia technologies and standards
- Design, develop, and showcase technologies for international trade shows and conferences
- Present your research at scientific conferences and trade shows
- Publish your research findings
- Optional: Participate in international standardization activities at ITU and ISO, such as JVET and MPEG.
Your qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of C/C++
- Familiarity with Python and Linux systems preferred
- Creativity and interest in new technologies
- Indepth knowledge of data compression or signal processing preferred
- Knowledge of machine learning is a plus
- Team player with the ability to work independently and collaborate with others
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Willingness to travel to conferences and optionally standardization meetings
- Willingness to pursue a PhD degree
