Renaissance at Lakeshore in Port Arthur, TX operated by Brownstone Residential and is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment community
- Hands on department of one
- Oversees vendors when used
- Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents
- Responding to work orders in occupied apartments
- Grounds maintenance and refuse control
- HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Lock installation and repairs
- Minor plumbing
- Minor painting
- Minor carpentry
- Appliance installation and repairs
- Swimming pool maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 12 years general maintenance experience
- EPA or HVAC certified
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
- Valid driver's license
Physical Demands:
- The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner.
- Physically able to climb numerous flights of stairs on a daily basis.
Stooping:
Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
Kneeling:
Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.
Crouching:
Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
Reaching:
Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Handling:
Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands.
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week

- 8 hour shift

Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Apartment Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (required)
- EPA Certification (preferred)
- HVAC Certification (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Port Arthur, TX 77640: Relocate before starting work (required)
