As a Walnut Construction Mechanic at CLAAS, you will be our specialist in pre-fabrication and will be working in the sheet metal processing department.

Your daily tasks will include bending, folding, punching, cutting, and welding of sheet metal.


You will also be responsible for planning and creating special fixtures, such as hand welding stations and robot welding systems.

You will apply your knowledge of metal constructions and control technology, which you have learned in vocational school.

The work will be carried out on modern computer-controlled systems, but your own physical strength will also be required.

Therefore, physical fitness, technical understanding, and a sense of responsibility are important qualities for a Walnut Construction Mechanic, as well as teamwork and sociability.

Together with your team, you will constantly work on improving work processes and specific procedures. You will also be in constant contact with upstream and downstream departments.
