Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Able to document provided services in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner according to LAC-DMH and Medi-Cal documentation standards
  • Maintain an appropriate level of client service utilization & billing
  • Able to coordinate medical followups for clients with concurrent conditions
  • Able to provide life skills training
  • Able to search, arrange and coordinate client housing placements
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and independently complete assigned tasks
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Ability to perform basic computer skills required for an electronic health record
  • Able to consistently maintain agency productivity standards
  • Requires the ability to respond to a crisis after hours, including participating in rotating oncall
  • Experience providing services to individuals living with mental illness in a directly operated, countycontracted, residential, or other mental health agency helpful
  • Work comfortably and independently in the field and correctional center settings
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications:


  • BA/BS in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Experience with LA County Department of Mental Health paperwork preferred
  • Evidence of clear criminal record, eligibility to claim Medi-Cal, and proof of valid California Driver's License
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID19, including booster

This is a full-time, primarily field-based position with a 40-hour work week, the agency is currently open for services Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
