Our company is located in Connecticut and we are seeking dedicated, experienced individuals who are interested in becoming part of our team.

Position provides an excellent opportunity to play a role in a fast growing aerospace service company.

Our FAA/EASA certificated repair facility services a wide range of aircraft electronic and airframe components used in business and regional aircraft.

We are seeking dedicated support professionals who are pursuing rewarding, long term employment. Salary is dependent upon your experience and qualifications.


Parts Buyer:

Responsible for purchasing all parts and materials and office supplies for the facility.

This includes locating suppliers, researching goods, services and materials and processing purchasing orders using the company ERP system and Quickbooks.


Additional responsibilities include:


  • Inventory management;
  • Monitoring stock levels of consumable items and order replacements as required;
  • Monitoring shelf life limited inventory. Remove and replace expired/used material as required;
  • Assist with material receiving as required;
  • Maintain SDS library;
  • Periodic inspection of fire extinguisher/fire suppression systems, and eye wash stations;.
  • Additional related functions as determined by supervision.


  • Education

  • BS in Business, accounting or other related field _preferred._
  • 23 years previous purchasing experience.
  • Good written, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
  • Must be reliable and motivated to keep up with department demands.
  • Potential exposure to heat, cold, fumes, noise, etc.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
  • Ability to hear in person and via phone.



Pay:
$ $32.00 per hour
