We are looking for a sexton for St.

George's Parish Church in the parish association of Otterfing (Deanery of Miesbach) starting immediately:


Permanent sexton with 17.5 weekly hours in part-time

Your main tasks include:


  • Preparation and followup of services, baptisms, weddings, requiems
  • Maintenance and provision of liturgical equipment, garments, books, etc.
  • Church decoration
  • Opening and closing of the church
  • Assistance with processing of offerings and collections

  • Diligent, reliable, and responsible work ethic
  • Initiative, teamwork, and friendliness
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours, including Sundays and holidays
  • Independent organization of work
  • Identification with the goals and values of the Catholic Church
