PROCUREMENT OFFICER FOR LICENSES FOR IMAGES AND TEXT | M/F/D

Tasks

You are responsible for the procurement of licenses for images, texts, illustrations, as well as film and music titles, which are used in our diverse educational media (books, software, videos).
You work closely with internal editors as well as external licensors and collecting societies.
Your goal is the legally secure and timely licensing for the respective projects. Both the wishes of editors and the purchasing costs play an important role.
You search for images in databases of professional agencies and maintain license information in our internal system (master data or article maintenance).
You conduct purchasing negotiations with individual licensors in Germany and abroad and take care of correspondence until invoice approval.
You report license information to collecting societies (e.g. VG Wort, GEMA). Upon completion of the respective projects, you send sample copies to the licensors.

Qualifications
