About the Role:
You have experience as a technical artist in real-time game engines, specifically Unreal and Unity. You will work directly with creatives and leadership to build flexible, high-quality, and technically sound prototypes. You are passionate about delivering excellence alongside your team. You are dedicated to continuously expanding and improving your skillset as technology rapidly advances. You can find creative solutions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


We are Icon Incar, an automotive experience design studio committed to creating immersive in-car experiences with some of the biggest car makers in the world.

You will work closely with engineers, user-interface, and user-experience designers to build interactive prototypes in Unreal or Unity.

Our teams are structured to work as small pods of experts that execute on the design vision of our team and clients.

We need someone who loves solving creative and technical problems from concepts to prototypes to production.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineers, designers, and artists to create interactive prototypes in Unity and Unreal
  • Create performant materials in Unreal or Unity that reflect the creative briefs and can work within hardware requirements
  • Use Unity and Unreal's UI systems for interactive prototypes
  • Develop pipelines and tools that bridge the gap between Figma, Protopie, Cinema 4D, and game engines
  • Import and optimize 3D assets from automotive clients to work inside game engines
  • Implement visual concepts into game engines with an artistic eye
