Leasing Approval Specialist


ROLE DESCRIPTION:


As a Leasing Approval Specialist, you will act as a liaison between potential residents and our team by attending to their inquiries and lease executions.

This role is integral to the success and accuracy of the entire team.


REPORTS TO:
Client Operations Manager


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS - include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all lease files are prepared and approved according to policy
  • Follow qualifications procedures and assist clients with proving sufficient income documentation
  • Facilitate resident lease signings within first 72 hours of approval
  • Assist with answering overflow multilined phones and greeting clients
  • Organizing shared calendars and prescheduling daily appointments
  • Ensure leasing centers are clean and organized daily
  • Provide a wide range of administrative and support services to the leasing staff and the Leasing Manager
  • Provide weekly leasing and execution reports
  • Regular and physical attendance is required
Professional Requirements

  • 23 years of experience in a firstclass customer service environment.
  • Property Management experience a plus
  • Real Estate experience is a plus
  • Experience with Yardi and Knock is plus but not required
  • Great with people warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone
  • Be extremely organized and have the ability to multitask
  • Excellent oral and written skills are required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Must pass background and drug test screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community
  • Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, and lift
  • Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25 lbs. with/without assistance
  • Frequently lift/move/carry 10 lbs.
  • Consistently communicate, converse, and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents, and visitors
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Constantly operates the computer, 10key, and other office productivity machinery.
  • Consistently work in low to moderate noise levels.

Scheduled Hours:

  • Must be available to work on weekends
  • Shift schedule 9 am6 pm and/or 10 am
  • 7 pm
  • 40 Hour weekly commitment required

Salary:
$20/hour - $22/hour
