We are currently seeking a motivated 2D and 3D Pattern Designer (M/F/d) to join our Product Development team for BOSS Menswear (Suits/Jackets/Trousers).

This is a temporary position until December 31, 2023.

What you can expect:

Independently develop 2D and 3D models from creative concept to production release, considering quality specifications and production costs
Create new products and explore innovative possibilities, as well as implement new constructions
Conduct fittings using 3D simulations and physical prototypes
Evaluate grading in relation to demand and target groups
Create manufacturing documents using PLM and Illustrator
Ensure and supervise prototypes and capsules for quality, workmanship, and fit
Lead and participate in projects
Work closely with other teams (design, technical product development, operations, and vendors)

Your profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or Technical Design
At least 5 years of experience as a pattern designer in product development
Ability to interpret design models and sketches and translate innovative ideas into technical products
Proactive in initiating new product designs and procedures
Strong knowledge of industrial processing
Ability to replicate vintage apparel and adapt
