Responsibilities:

  • As a process mechanic for glass technology (m/f/d), you monitor, control, and regulate the production process of glass containers on computer-controlled production systems.
  • You also maintain and repair these systems.
  • You mix the raw materials for glass production, melt the mixture in the glass tank, and shape it into the desired glass container using the IS machine through pressing and blowing.
  • After the glass has cooled, you inspect the containers according to quality specifications, sort and pack them.
  • You set up and monitor the function of machines and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Manual dexterity
  • Interest in technology and natural sciences
  • Precise and accurate work style
  • Teamwork skills
