We are currently looking for a full time certified Medical Assistant to join our team


Essential functions and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Communicates, collaborates, and seeks out opportunities to provide quality service to patients, Physicians, staff, and others in a courteous manner.
• Provides phlebotomy services for patient labs.
• Provides clinical care consistent with Physician orders and department policies and procedures.
• Sends prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Carefully documents patient care in medical records.
• Assists Physicians with IVF procedures.
• Minimizes patient delays by scheduling patients and surgeries in an organized and efficient manner.
• Organizes and maintains inventory of clinical and office supplies.
• Cleans and equips exam rooms, ensuring sterility and compliance with The Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA, and other quality assurance standards.
• Consistently maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in our engaging field of work.

The right person for this role must have the following qualifications;

• Registered graduate (RMA or CMA) of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 1year experience working as a Medical Assistant; obstetrics and gynecology experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and HIPAA.
• Strong computer skills.
