Neuro Wellness Spa is recruiting a Medical Front Office Assistant for a full-time position.

As a premier provider of rTMS, Spravato Ketamine therapy and psychopharmacology, Neuro Wellness Spa continues to expand throughout Southern California with locations in Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Westlake Village and upcoming locations in Long Beach, Marina Del Rey and upcoming Pasadena location.

We are currently seeking a highly-organized, friendly and compassionate assistant with experience working in a clinical setting.

Preference will be given to individuals who have completed a medical office assistant training program.

  • Welcome patients as they contact the office personally or by telephone, and explain the services available, payment categories, and billing procedures
  • Answer multiple phone lines; directs calls and takes messages as needed including pharmacy calls, medical records requests and authorizations for medications
  • Verify patient information and insurance eligibility; collects payments and copayments prior to patient appointments
  • Direct patients to complete forms and processes patientrelated intake, prescription refill and disability paperwork in DrChono EHR
  • Inform providers of no shows and cancellations
  • Schedule appointments or followup appointments for patients using DrChrono EHR
  • Contact bumped patients and reschedules appointments as appropriate
  • Perform various frontoffice duties in a fastpaced, customeroriented clinical environment, as assigned
  • Maintain clinic patient flow, balancing registration requirements and documents, patient appointment times and nonappointment activities.
  • Maintain work area and lobby in neat manner

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
