Join us and start your professional future with Rockport Beginning on August 1, 2024, we are offering an apprenticeship as an electrician for energy and building technology (m/f/d) at our location in Essen.

What to expect:

During the apprenticeship as an electrician for energy and building technology, you will learn all about the electronic world in buildings: from simple things like light and electricity, to air conditioning, ventilation, telephone and internet connections, and even alarm systems, door control systems, and solar panels.

Throughout your training, you will learn how to design, install, and operate the necessary electronics in a building. You will also learn about maintenance and troubleshooting. In addition to practical training on construction sites, you will attend vocational school.

Duration of apprenticeship:
3.5 years.

Your qualifications:

Good secondary school diploma (with at least a good performance in math and German)
Ideally, you have already completed an internship in this field
Strong organizational skills and enjoyment in regularly learning about new work areas
Manual dexterity
Enthusiasm and good communication skills
Willingness to work constructively and cooperatively with colleagues
Responsible and careful work ethic
