Responsibilities:

Providing educational support and integration assistance for children and adolescents during school hours who have a special educational or therapeutic need that affects their participation in school and daily school life (in the context of 35a SGB VIII). A special educational or therapeutic need may include externalizing disorders (ADHD, conduct disorder, and others), internalizing disorders (anxiety, affective disorders, trauma, and others), and disorders on the autism spectrum.
The central focus of the role is consciously reflected pedagogical relationship work with the accompanied child or adolescent and promoting their autonomy and selfregulation through empathetic understanding of their individual motivations and emotions, as well as their resources.
